This event is an outdoor event. Our Terms and Conditions clearly outline our policies.
As you know there are new laws in effect from the 1st July in WA. This along with various by laws and rules implemented by councils, state government and Federal government agencies we at VCMPerth Events and The Vintage Collective Markets Perth Western Australia Ellenbrook Roadside Eats will need to enforce these changes.
As we also have a commercial responsibility to be able to compete for event contracts that have further restrictions placed on some plastic items, additional bans also apply.
- ALL plastic carry bags of any description . Only paper bags allowed.
*This is due to the fact we are not plastic specialists and can not police what a bags is made from. - ALL plastic straws
- ALL plastic ice-cream holders
- Serving containers , plates , bowls and any food containers you give your customers
- Eating utensils, knives forks and spoons.
AND any takeaway DRINKING CUPS / COFFEE cups containing ANY amount of plastic.
Many local councils are enforcing the bans on some of the above items now and others in the near future.
As frustrating as it must be we must all prepare to modify our service the wider community who now demand such changes.
